On March 31, Xiaomi officially launched the dual Redmi Note 12 series with two versions in the Vietnamese market: Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro. The new product duo inherits the strengths of the Redmi Note series so far such as youthful design and strong performance in the segment at an accessible price.
Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G
The Pro version is the most advanced version in the Note 12 series that Xiaomi introduced in Vietnam this year. The machine has a glossy glass finish on the back, a square plastic frame that catches the eye of today’s youth. The main camera array on the Redmi Note 12 Pro includes 3 lenses: a 50MP wide angle using the same Sony IMX766 sensor as the Xiaomi 12 and 12S, an 8MP wide angle and a 2MP macro.
At the front, Xiaomi has equipped the Redmi Note 12 Pro with a 6.67-inch display using a high-quality OLED panel. This monitor has a relatively good screen with high detail, good colors, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device has a 16MP selfie camera located in the ‘mole’ area at the top edge of the screen. Besides, this screen is also protected by high-quality Gorilla Glass 5.
In terms of performance, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro comes with a Dimensity 1080 processor from MediaTek. This is a chip in the mid-range for decent performance, meeting the entertainment needs of users. Original Vietnam version has 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro houses a 5,000mAh battery, and supports 67W fast charging with the included charger. The device runs on Android 12 with MIUI 14 interface.

The standard version of this year’s Redmi Note series is still packed with the powerful features of the Redmi Note series. The device has a nice design, its back is made of plastic, with a square frame.
The main camera assembly also includes 3 lenses: 50MP wide angle, 8MP wide angle and 2MP macro. The front camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels located in the “mole” area.
The Redmi Note 12’s screen is a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, with FHD + resolution with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
In terms of performance, as a standard version that only supports 4G, Redmi Note 12 is equipped with a Snapdragon 685 chip, which is a slightly upgraded version of the Snapdragon 680, and still meets the needs of light entertainment. The device has two memory options when it was originally sold, 4GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh, fast charging 33W. The device also runs on MIUI 14.
Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G duo will be available in retail systems in Vietnam and on e-commerce websites Shopee and Lazada on April 7, 2023. Listed selling prices are as follows:
