What’s new in iOS 16.1 beta 2 (video)


Yesterday Apple released iOS 16.1 beta 2 to developers, and we also expect a new public beta of the software soon.

Now we find out what’s included in Apple’s latest iOS 16.1 beta in a new video from Zollotechm, let’s find out more details about this release.

As we can see from the video, this new beta version comes with a modem update designed to improve the connection and connection quality on your device.

There are also quite a few new features coming out of iOS 16, and this will include Live Activities that will display things like Uber status, sports scores on the lock screen in real time, and more.

You can also now completely delete Apple Wallet from your iPhone, a feature that was not available on iPhone previously.

The new iOS 16.1 beta 2 software is now available for registered developers to try, there should also be a new public beta this week as well.

So far we don’t have any details on when Apple will release their iOS 16.1 software, we expect it to arrive sometime in October, and we should see more beta builds before the final version is released.

Apple is rumored to be holding a press event for Mac and iPad in October, and we also expect to release macOS Ventura and iPadOS 16 versions in October as well.
