Amazon has announced that it will continue its Prime Day shopping event with a two-day Prime Early Access Sale next month.
The event, which begins October 11 in the UK at 8:00am, promises to give Prime members the opportunity to shop for the holidays sooner than ever.
The company promises a list of the 100 best “gift” ideas across many categories, including electronics. There will be savings on Fire TV and tablets, and money from Samsung and Alexa-enabled devices.
Given that Amazon is about to launch a bunch of new products at an event later this week, Prime Early Access could be an opportunity for some savings out of the gate.
What is the Prime Early Access date?
Prime Early Access is a two-day sale for Amazon Prime members. It will be available to both paying customers and those who enjoy the service via a free trial. Amazon will likely offer free 30-day trials to returning members as a carrot before the event.
Amazon says the Prime Early Access Sale will begin on Tuesday, October 11 at midnight PST in the US. This is 8:00 AM UK time. The sale will last for 48 hours, which means you’ll be able to enjoy the savings, until 7:59 AM on Thursday, October 13.
Prime Early Access comes to 15 countries. They are: Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States.
What will be on sale on Prime Early Access?
In addition to its own branded electronics, Amazon’s press release mentions savings on a number of major brands, including Hasbro, iRobot (now owned by Amazon), KitchenAid and Samsung. It says there will be savings on must-have brands like Peloton and New Balance, while Caudalie, Murad and Philips Sonicare products will also be available at deep discounts.
There will also be top games from Disney, Fisher-Price, Bluey and National Geographic, and home gifts from Amazon Basics, Christopher Knight, De’Longhi, Shark, simplehuman, and ZINUS.
Amazon is also paying some Prime benefits, including a year of free Grubhub+ membership, four months of Amazon Music Unlimited and some discounts on Prime Video titles before the event.
