V853 RISC-V Open Source AI Vision Development Kit


Joining the previously announced ULX4M development board is another development kit in the form of V853. Offers an open source development toolkit with an extension Arm Cortex-A7 corea RISC-V E907 . coreNPU 1-TOPS, 7-inch LCD screen, two cameras, and everything else your AI vision applications might require, say its developers.

Coming soon from the Crowd Supply website, the devices feature an extension Allwinner’s powerful V853 SoC, which includes a 1 GHz Arm Cortex-A7 core, a 600 MHz RISC-V E907 core, and a 1-TOPS NPU. It does this by integrating several additional modules that together provide 512MB of DDR3 memory, 8GB of eMMC storage, SD card support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, SD card support, USB connectivity, dual microphones, dual camera interface, IT- CUT, screen interface, battery interface, RTC battery, buttons, power management, speaker, GPS support, G-SENSOR interface, JTAG, I²S, UART, among other features.
