The Porsche 911 GT3 RS set an impressive time at the Nürburgring, with the car managing a time of 6:49.328 at the Nürburgring.

“Today the 911 GT3 RS delivered what it really promised at first glance – absolute excellence on the racetrack,” says Andreas Breuninger, Director of GT Cars. “Considering the far-from-ideal conditions, with strong headwinds on a long straight line from Döttinger Höhe and cool asphalt temperatures, we are satisfied with this time. The 911 GT3 RS sets new standards for aerodynamics and chassis. Never before has a car personified The road is a lot of motorsport.”
The 911 GT3 RS with the Weissach package is fitted with optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, sized 275/35 R 20 at the front and 335/30 R21 at the rear. The new 911 GT3 RS completed the record shorter course in 6:44.848 minutes.
“We lost a bit of downforce due to the strong, gusty winds at times, but I’m still very happy with the cuddle,” Bergmeister says. “In the fast sections especially, the 911 GT3 RS is in a league of its own. Here on a level normally reserved for top-tier racing cars. The car also sets new standards in braking. The fast laps on the Nordschleife are a lot of fun in this car.” .
