As Samsung continues to roll out Android 13, the company just brought the update to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4, as well as last year’s Galaxy A52.
Samsung released the stable Android 13 update to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4 last week, technically speaking, but the update was only available to those who participated in the company’s One UI 5 beta program. For example, my personal Galaxy Z Fold 4 updated to Android 13 a few days ago shortly after this rollout began.
But now, as SamMobile According to reports, Samsung has started rolling it out more widely. Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4 users who didn’t participate in the beta program are now getting Android 13, at least in Samsung’s home country of South Korea. The update carries the same firmware version as BVK5 and should expand to more regions in the coming days. The November 2022 security patch is also available.
Meanwhile, Samsung is also expanding Android 13 to a brand new device.
Galaxy A52, which was released in 2021, is now getting the stable Android 13 update. So far, the update has only been spotted in Russia but as always it should expand to more regions soon. The November 2022 security patch is also linked to this update, which has a firmware version number ending in CVJB.
Samsung has released Android 13 to quite a few devices so far, but it still has a long way to go. You can monitor our frequently updated tracker here.
