Sky Stream launches in the UK on October 18

Sky has announced that it will be launching its new Sky Stream device in the UK from October 18.

The new Sky Stream will work just like Sky Glass, bring the Sky Glass UI to any TV, and give you basically everything you get with Sky Glass TVs on any TV.

Stephen van Rooyen, Executive Vice President and CEO, UK and Europe, “Sky has always reinvented the TV experience and delivered the best content – but it wasn’t always available to everyone. There’s no better time to launch our latest innovation with the Sky Glass Platform – whether you want to stream House of the Dragon, Gangs of London or Stranger Things, Sky Stream has it all. It’s the easiest and most affordable way to get Sky TV and Netflix together, providing consumers with the value they’re looking for right now.”

Sky will offer the device on an 18-month contract for £26 a month or a 31-day rolling plan for £29 a month. So, you can get the device, Sky Ultimate TV, and Netflix Basic.

There are additional packages that you can buy on top that include Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, BT Sport, and more. There is a £39.99 setup fee on the 31-day plan and a £20 setup fee on the 18-month plan.
