Silent Hill has been revealed, which is supposed to be the next new game in the Silent Hill franchise. We watched a movie trailer of a high school girl wandering through a misty city carrying a pipe, getting more and more battered as the trailer progressed.
A short trailer for Silent Hill Ascension has been revealed, but it’s hard to fathom what’s going on besides including a monster with a huge weapon intertwined between text messages about trying to save someone. It appears to be a live series that will allow fans to watch the story unfold together.
Return to Silent Hill received a comprehensive tour from the film’s director, Christoph Gans. They didn’t have much to show outside of concept art, so the movie is definitely in its early stages.
The Silent Hill project published by Annapurna Interactive is revealed in development at No Code, creators of Observation. The game is called Silent Hill Townfall and it gave us a stealth trailer that offers a mysterious first look at what the game will look like. It appears to be less budget but more style in the series.
Akira Yamaoka, author of the original Silent Hill series, returns to write a remake of Silent Hill 2.
A remake of Silent Hill 2 in development with Bloober Team has been revealed. Few shots were shown, and it looks like it’s from the ground up. It appears to be a PS5 exclusive for 12 months after release, and is also available on PC.
It appears that the Silent Hill Transmission event is actually not a live broadcast but a video preview. It can be watched in its entirety from start to finish using the YouTube link in the main article. We’ll share updates as we watch along.
The Silent Hill Transmission event begins at 2PM PDT / 5PM EDT / 10PM GMT / 11PM CST and can be watched on the official Silent Hill YouTube channel. We already know (through leaks) that Silent Hill 2: Part 1 and Silent Hill: Ascension are among the two games that will be featured in this demo. There’s also a movie called Return to Silent Hill coming, but that’s where the leaks end. Given that these are three complete projects, they will likely make up the majority of this event.
