Samsung’s fourth Android 13 beta is rolling out for the Galaxy S22 now

One UI 5 beta is fully operational on Galaxy S22. This new Android 13 beta 4 update brings quite a few bug fixes as well as removing the ability to have multiple users on a single device.

Android 13 has brought some great changes to the Galaxy series devices available for it. Some of these improvements include adding external-themed icons, which bring your home screen together a little better. Another great improvement is the introduction of Privacy Detection, which identifies sensitive information before it is shared.

As for this iteration of One UI 5 beta for the S22 series, there’s not much to worry about. Most of the changes noted in the update relate to bugs in previous beta versions. Of course, this is more than expected when you are dealing with a previously released version of Android.

One important thing to note is the removal of multi-user support in Android 13 beta 4 on the S22. In previous iterations, we had the ability to add a secondary or guest user to the device, which allowed them to access their Google accounts and other information. This feature has now been completely stripped down for reasoning that hasn’t been completely clear yet.

While the Android 13 beta 4 update is available exclusively for the S22 series, for now, we expect to roll out the One UI 5 beta to more devices over the coming weeks. Samsung recently released the One UI 5 beta for S20 devices, so some users may have to wait a little longer to see the next update.
