Sony announced the launch of the new PlayStation VR2 headset in February 2023 and the device will retail for $549.99.
You’ll soon be able to pre-order the new PlayStation VR2 and PS VR2 Sense Controller charging station later this month before it launches next year.
Over the past several months, we’ve introduced PlayStation VR2 and provided glimpses into the next generation of virtual reality gaming, which will let you escape to new worlds while feeling a groundbreaking sense of immersion. Today I am pleased to announce that PlayStation VR2 will be officially launched on February 22, 2023. The PlayStation VR2 Sense console charging station, specially designed for the PS VR2 Sense console, will also be launched on the same day.
Here’s the PS VR2 lineup and recommended retail prices for each product. Availability in each country is subject to local import regulations.

So far there are no details on how much the new VR2 will retail for in the UK, we should have some details on that later this month.
