Philips introduced the Evnia 34M2C5501A gaming monitor.
What is known
Buyers are offered a 34-inch curved display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, UltraWide Quad HD resolution (3440 x 1440 pixels) and a 180Hz refresh rate.
Screen brightness matches 300 nits in SDR mode or 400 nits in HDR mode, and covers 95% and 91% of the DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB color gamut. The pixel density is 109.68 ppi.
Philips promises that the Evnia 34M2C5501A’s response time is just 1ms.
The new product also supports AMD FreeSync technology.
The Evnia 34M2C5501A has built-in 5-watt stereo speakers, as well as HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, USB 3.2 Gen 1, and a headphone jack.
The screen is equipped with three-sided Ambiglow RGB lighting that adapts to the image.
The start date for sales of the Evnia 34M2C5501A monitor in Europe is unknown, it is expected to appear “soon”. It costs 379 euros.
