Limited Edition Lotus Evija Fittipaldi revealed

Lotus has announced a limited edition Evija and Lotus Evija Fittipaldi and the car celebrates 50 years since racing legend Emerson Fittipaldi and Team Lotus won the F1 Drivers and Builders Championship.

Lotus Evija Fittipaldi comes with a range of upgrades over the standard car, only 8 cars are built and all are sold.

Exactly 50 years later, Lotus Evija Fittipaldi is a fitting celebration of this partnership. Only eight examples of the all-electric two-seater are handcrafted at Hethel in Norfolk, UK – the global headquarters for Lotus sports car design and manufacturing – and all are sold. Customer deliveries will begin early next year. It’s the latest project from Lotus Advanced Performance, the design and experimental division dedicated to the business that launched earlier this year.

Showcasing the world-famous black and gold color scheme – also 50 years in 2022 – the hand-painted exterior and many other unique design features were created to celebrate this incredible collaboration. They include a hand-colored Type 72 outline display etched into the carbon fiber convertible roof, and Fittipaldi’s hand-stitched signature to the dashboard.

Perhaps the most impressive detail of all is the rotating dial on the floating center console. They are handcrafted from genuine Type 72 recycled aluminum, ensuring that an authentic piece of the iconic F1 racer is a part of every Evija Fittipaldi.
