How to watch House of the Dragon Episode 4: Catch up on Game of Thrones prequel

How to watch House of the Dragon Episode 4: Catch up on the first three episodes of GoT’s pop-up and stream House of the Dragon Episode 4 live in the UK.

We’re approaching the middle of the season in House of the Dragon and things are starting to get real. With three action-packed episodes now in the books, we’ve seen births, marriages, deaths and betrayals, our first taste of a proper battle, but surprisingly little nudity and how your dad is.

If you haven’t watched Episodes 1, 2, and 3 yet, there are some spoilers ahead…

Set 200 years before the events depicted in Game of Thrones, this Targaryen family drama is about the succession of King Viserys (Paddy Considine) and it’s going to be delicious.

A cat succession plan is laid out among pigeons at King’s Landing. The king, having lost his wife and newborn son during childbirth, arguably chose a new heiress – his daughter Rainera (Emma Darcy).

Although he soon gave birth to a new son, by his daughter’s best friends and his new wife, Rhaenyra (Emma Darcy) is still next in line to the Iron Throne. This is despite much interference from the main houses (the Lannisters here are already Arsimul) and the objections of King Daemon’s brother (Matt Smith).

He’s banished from the King’s Court, takes his dragon and goes to Dragonstone, the family’s ancestral home, which you’ll remember from the last seasons of GoT as important. He is now fighting to redeem the pirate world alongside Corlys aka ‘The Sea Snake’, the richest man around.

The end of Episode 3 saw Daemon act boldly (before the King’s fleet came to save a failed campaign) to defeat the evil Crabfeeder. This victory came despite being shot with arrows and somehow dodging some two million other people.

So we move on to Episode 4. The scene is set for George R.R. Martin’s latest mod, so read on to find out how to watch House of the Dragon Episode 4 on your best home TV.
