The relationship between Google and Samsung has improved significantly in recent years with the latter often appearing in the first keywords, while there have been joint ad campaigns. The latter highlights a large number of Google services that run on Samsung devices.
It starts with someone at a dinner party using Google’s Hum to Search feature to find a song stuck in their head. Once identified by a Google search, it is sent to a nearby Samsung TV. After more examples and the “Make it epic” tagline, the video ends by selecting the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 4 with Google Assistant.
Besides the internet, we saw this Google-Samsung ad show in a theater before the movie. Many of the integrations are fairly straightforward, but the promotion for Hum to Search and the fairly new Google Assistant on the Galaxy Watch 4 helps raise awareness.
Meanwhile, there is a website accompanying this campaign: samsung.withgoogle.com.
