After detailing yesterday’s One UI 5 update, Samsung has expanded its Android 13 beta program to several other devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, and more. But there are some strange omissions.
The One UI 5 beta is available through the Samsung Members app, and it brings Android 13 and a few new features. The beta version has seen some updates so far, but only for Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy S21 series.

Now, the beta software is available on a few other devices.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 are eligible for the Android 13 beta in India as well as in the US, at least for the former. The update’s change notes support stacked widgets, customizable incoming call wallpapers, as well as improvements to the Color Palette, Samsung’s interpretation of the You stuff.
Beyond that, SamMobile Reports indicate that the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are also eligible for One UI 5 beta in the US.
But the strange thing here is that the beta version of Android 13 has not yet expanded to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, despite it being available on their predecessors. It’s not clear when Samsung intends to bring the update to those newer devices, but it’s definitely out of style. Despite this, Samsung is still expected to release the latest Android 13 update for its latest foldable version, the Galaxy S22 series, and the other devices mentioned in this post by the end of 2022.
