Galaxy S23 Ultra design has appeared in a new leak

Samsung’s 2023 flagship phones are starting to leak, with a new batch of CAD-based renders today showing off the design of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Tweet embed And the smartbrix It posted a bunch of renders showing the design of the Galaxy S23 Ultra a few months before its launch. These renderings are based on CAD specifications, which means that small details can change at times, but they are generally very accurate to the final appearance of the device.

And if those things turn out to be true, they show that the design of the Galaxy S23 Ultra doesn’t change in any meaningful way from the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

From the camera module to the flat top and bottom bezel, this phone is virtually indistinguishable from the previous generation. The only slight change noted is that the side of the device is a bit flat, rather than rounded at some point.

This makes sense, as previous leaks have shown that Samsung isn’t changing much for this generation. One of the highlights, however, is that the S23 Ultra does display a SIM tray in these renderings, which was oddly missing from regular Galaxy S23 models (we’re assuming it’s just a bug in the CAD files).

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to arrive early next year, possibly with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in most regions.
