Minisforum introduced a pair of new compact desktop computer systems this week in the form of EliteMini UM590 And EliteMini UM690 are both powered by Ryzen 9 5900HX processor or Ryzen 9 6900HX Powered by Radeon Graphics running. The slightly higher spec UM690 is also the world’s first mini PC with a USB 4 port.
Connections on the new Minisforum UM590 mini PC include RJ45 2.5GbE x 1, USB Type-A x 4 (USB3.2 Gen2 x 2, USB2.0 x 2), USB 3.2 Type-C x 1 (DP1 support .1). 4,4K@60Hz), USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C x 1 (data only, front), HDMI x 2, Clear CMOS x 1, DMIC x 1 and 3.5mm audio jack x 1.
AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor based on the Cezanne generation. It is based on the Zen 3 micro architecture. Zen 3 delivers higher instructions per clock, lower latency and improved efficiency over Zen 2 processors. The Ryzen 9 5900HX has 8 high-performance cores with 16 threads, freeing up plenty of space in gaming and productivity applications. The Ryzen 9 5900HX reaches a maximum speed of 4.6GHz, producing maximum power when you need it. The chip is manufactured according to TSMC’s state-of-the-art 7nm process.
