Now we have another video that gives us a look at the battery life in the new iOS 16.1 software update compared to the current software which is iOS 16.0.3. The tests are taking place on a range of different iPhone models, let’s see if there is any improvement in this new version.
As we can see from the video, the majority of iPhones performed better on the new software coming to the iPhone later today.
The only phone among the models tested that performed better with the current iOS 16.0.3 software was the iPhone 14.
Apple will release the iOS 16.1 software update later today, and the update will bring a bunch of new features to your iPhone.
This will include the new Live Activities feature for the lock screen which will display live sports scores and more on the lock screen. This feature will also be integrated into Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro models. From what we’ve seen so far, this looks like a really useful feature, especially on the new iPhone 14 Pro lineup of phones.
Apple is also adding the ability to completely delete the Apple Wallet app from the iPhone, previously it could only be removed from the Home screen.
Once we have more details about when Apple will release this and other updates, we’ll let you know.
