Wait what? Captain America was still using the iPhone 6s? Sure, Cap has been frozen in ice for 70 years, but who had Chris Evans using an iPhone 6s in 2022 on his bingo card?
The star of Apple TV + Jacob’s defense The series shared a heartfelt farewell to the iPhone home button from 2015 on Twitter.
“RIP iPhone 6s” Wrote Evans. “We had a good run. I will miss your home button.”
But it wasn’t all rosy for the nearly seven-year-old iPhone.
“I wouldn’t miss the nightly battle of trying to get you to charge. Or your grainy photos. Or your sudden dips from 100% of your battery, to 15%, to completely running out in a matter of minutes,” Evans continued. “It was a wild ride. Rest in peace, my friend.”
iPhone 6s Do Run the latest version of iOS, although that will change when iOS 16 is released in September. Apple is dropping the first generation iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 7 from software support this fall.
Fortunately, it looks like Chris Evans has upgraded to the iPhone 13. Based on his upgrade habits, he probably won’t feel bad about buying when the iPhone 14 comes out in just a few months.
