Mackenzie Frazier, US Deals Editor, TechRadar

Retailers usually hold their best Black Friday deals for the weekend, but this year, the likes of Best Buy, Amazon, and Walmart have kicked off early sales. And I really liked their TV deals – a lot of the sets are really the cheapest they’ve ever been. Here are 11 that caught my eye today.

RX 6600 gaming computer for less than $900!

Fabulous! This is definitely one of the best Black Friday deals on PC we’ve seen so far, giving you a great gaming PC for an even better price.

Right now, the MSI Aegis ZS 5DQ-280US Gaming PC is selling for just $899 at Newegg. (Opens in a new tab)which is a real bargain considering it has an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G CPU, AMD Radeon RX 6600 GPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a 500GB PCIe SSD inside.

It’s not quite a high-end machine, but it’s easily capable of playing at 1080p at a minimum frame rate of 150fps and at $300 it’s an excellent entry into esports that won’t break the bank.

Black Friday = Chromebooks are cheap

If you’re looking for a Chromebook at a good price this side of Christmas, Black Friday is the perfect time to browse the digital shelves. Chromebooks regularly get price cuts this time of year, bringing already-cheap hardware prices down to hard-to-resist levels.

A Chromebook isn’t necessarily ideal for everyone, of course – they lack the power to perform high-end gaming and graphic design work – but they’re a great choice for kids and can also be useful as a second laptop for surfing the web.

You are convinced, right? In that case, check out the HP 11AG8EE below, £30 off now at Argos (Opens in a new tab). This saves you 23% off the typical price of a laptop with 4GB of RAM and an 11.6-inch screen. Look – I tell you it was a deal.

10 cheap gift ideas – most of them are under $25

Here’s a rundown of some of the best deals this weekend

Our best cordless vacuum cleaner is the lowest price ever

If you’re looking for a new cordless vacuum cleaner, this Shark Stratos deal on Amazon is worth considering. The IZ420UKT ranks high in our best cordless vacuums guide: We were incredibly impressed with its ability to sense how much dirt is on the floor and increase suction power accordingly when we tested it – we gave it a 4.5/5 in our review.

Previously £549.99, it’s been hovering around the £450 mark since receiving its first price cut in early November, and now it’s down again to £438.24 on Amazon – that’s £10 cheaper than the Shark. Will it go down again? We don’t think it will, and if it does, it won’t be much. It is a new model after all.

8 of the best TV shows this weekend

We checked sales this morning and there are some seriously low prices on a range of TVs, covering everything from premium OLED and QLED screens and massive 75-inch sets to budget and small smart TVs.

Will prices drop further? Yes, some might – we often see the best Black Friday TV deals in the week before Black Friday. But it’s debatable how far some of these combinations can actually go: It’s been a really great year for TV deals, thanks to LG’s acquisition of new OLED TV competition from Samsung, as well as an oversupply of LCD panels as TV makers backed away from production yet. market forecasting.

We saw? If you see a TV you want this weekend for a good price, and don’t mind if it’s reduced by another £20 in the next couple of weeks, get it – the biggest Black Friday TV deals can be sold out in minutes, and these deals are really great value for money.

Is it Black Friday?

No — but there are some really good Black Friday deals out there that aren’t likely to get much better in the two weeks between now and Black Friday, November 25th.

Televisions, in particular, are enjoying massive discounts this weekend – there’s still time to get a new one before the World Cup. Amazon and Currys are your best bet, and we saw some decent deals at John Lewis and Very this morning as well. We’ll be highlighting the best deals here soon…

Lots of smaller devices, too, are heavily discounted right now. Cordless coffee makers and vacuums are among the biggest deals we’ve seen so far. For example, you can pick up a single-serve DeLonghi Nescafé Dolce coffee machine for just £29 on Amazon today – that’s a whopping 65% off its full price of £79.99, and we don’t expect it to get any cheaper on Black Friday itself. compromise.

QUICK – LG C2 OLED TV just crashed to record low price

We just spotted the best TV of the year on sale for $1,296 at That’s a $150 discount, and it’s the lowest price we’ve seen for the premium LG C2 OLED, which ranks at the top of our best TV guide.

It displays everything we love about OLED technology, with excellent brightness and contrast levels. There’s virtual surround sound, smart capabilities, and voice control, and it has an ultra-thin design.

After testing it with everything from regular SD shows to popular Dolby Vision movies, we’ve found the C2 OLED to be more than capable of handling any content you can throw at it. Just don’t buy it if you need HDR10+ support — they have HDR10 and HLG, but no HDR10+ to be found.

Shark wireless vac is almost half the price

We haven’t reviewed this model ourselves (we tested the model, Shark Anti Hair Wrap IZ300 — which we gave 4/5 stars), but the hefty discount caught my eye. With a price cut of £180 on Amazon, the Shark IZ202UK is now under £200 – I’m seriously considering getting it myself. I’ve been trying to replace Henry for months…

It has a 40-minute runtime and comes with a second battery, so you can use it in a larger home—though it’s probably better suited to medium or small homes, like mine. It averages 4.5/5 stars from over 80 user reviews on Amazon, and on Shark it’s a similar story, with an average score of 4.7/5.

Some people say it’s a little heavy, but overall it seems to do a good job. I think I’m in…

9 of the UK’s best Black Friday deals

We’ve looked at some of the best deals in the US – but what about the UK? Here are some things that popped up for our bargain experts…

Dell XPS 15 2022

One of the best laptops ever gets a $700 price cut

Dell launched its Black Friday sale, and it’s worth a look if you’re in need of a new laptop. Something that caught our eye was this huge $700 discount on the high-end Dell XPS 15, which drops the price from $2,899 to $2,199.

It’s a productive powerhouse, as you might expect given the price, with new Intel Alder Lake processors and RTX GPUs packed into the classic XPS laptop design. We found it capable of even some moderate games. We gave it a full five stars in our Dell XPS 15 (2022) review.

Don’t buy it if you don’t need the best – those specs would be overkill for many people. But if you want to own what we think is arguably the perfect computer for most Windows users, this is a good deal. It’s the lowest price we’ve seen yet.

The Beats Studio Buds are getting a $50 price cut ahead of Black Friday

The Beats Studio Buds are the best headphones Beats has ever made. We gave them 4/5 stars in our Beats Studio Buds review: They’re comfortable to wear and look great, plus they support active noise cancellation.

Unfortunately, their call quality isn’t perfect and they miss out on Apple’s H1 wireless chip. But at $99.99 — its current price on Amazon, down from $149.95 — it’s a Many Cheaper than Apple’s AirPods Pro at $234. We think it’s an absolute bargain for an excellent pair of noise canceling earbuds.
