Beyerdynamic has announced the second generation of the Xelento Remote and Xelento Wireless, two sets of audio earbuds with both high-quality materials and exorbitant price tags.
The Xelento Remote (2nd generation) is a classic set of wired in-ear headphones priced at $999. For that price, you get a set of TESLA.11 dynamic unidirectional 11mm drivers that promise to provide “an exceptional level of detail, unparalleled space, and depth of sound that will delight audiophiles and audiophiles on the go.”
You also get a premium ergonomic design that includes a 24k real gold logo, gold-plated connectors, and silver-plated cables. You also get a 4.4mm Pentaconn balanced cable and a 3.5mm jack cable with remote control and hands-free microphone.
The Xelento Wireless (2nd generation) will set you back a steeper $1,199, giving you the same advanced earphone and remote design, but allied to a Bluetooth 5.2 neckband instead of the aforementioned 4.4mm cable.
This wireless component enables up to 14 hours of wireless music playback, with the AKM digital-to-analog adapter and speaker. Supported codecs include LHDC, Qualcomm aptXTM HD, and aptX.
The Xelento Remote and Pentaconn cable are both available for purchase separately, so you can choose between connecting to high-quality hi-fi systems or easy portability respectively. There are 10 earphone options included with the two sets of earphones, including seven pairs of silicone ear tips and three Comply Memory Foam ear tips for superior isolation.
You can expect both of them to be among the best earphones, at least for the sake of high sound quality.
The second generation Xelento Remote and Xelento Wireless are available for purchase, in white or black, from the online Beyerdynamic Store and Amazon Beyerdynamic Brand Store today.
