The city is experiencing a construction boom, with some buildings that will forever change the skyline of one of the most attractive cities in Florida. For this reason, we are reviewing 3 new skyscrapers in Miami that will open between 2026 and 2028, behind them are luxury brands: Dolce & Gabbana, Bentley, and Waldorf Astoria.
Bentley Residences
This will be the luxury car brand’s first residential project in the United States. Bentley Residences will have a car lift. The elevator will transport drivers from ground level to their apartments and will also be able to turn vehicles to correct their direction.
Each unit in the 228-meter-tall skyscraper will have a garage that can accommodate three or four cars.
On the lower floors, the elevators will be enclosed in glass so that passengers can see the building’s public spaces through their car windows.
The architectural studio behind the skyscraper said: “The building’s balconies are prominent, each occupying approximately half of the apartments’ space. In addition, each terrace will contain a private pool, outdoor shower, kitchen and seating area.
It is scheduled to open in 2026.
Waldorf Astoria Miami
The Waldorf Astoria Miami will have 100 floors and reach a maximum height of about 320 metres, well above the 300 meter threshold that defines a skyscraper as ultra-tall. If completed on schedule in 2026, it will be the first supertall skyscraper to be completed in Miami.
The structure is located at 300 Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami and consists of nine offset cubes intended to emphasize the suspension and height of the structure.
The building will also include a five-star hotel and private residences, both managed by Hilton.
888 Brickell Dolce & Gabbana
The 888 Brickell building by Dolce & Gabbana, with its 90 floors, is expected to reach 320 metres, the same height as the Waldorf Astoria Miami, although it is scheduled for completion two years later, in 2028.
Its facade, covered in gold and black, is designed to evoke the “city”. skyscraper “The quintessential modernists, design and fashion of mid-century Milan,” according to the team of architects.
The double-height event space will feature a DJ booth and seating, while the building’s bars and restaurants will feature a “harmonious mix of sumptuous textures, including black and white marble, fused glass, and velvety and brushed nickel.”
