Subaru revealed a new car at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2024 Subaru Impreza, and the car gets an updated design and a set of new features.
There are a range of models including the new RS model with a 2.5-liter boxer engine producing 192 hp, and there is also a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with 152 hp.
The 2024 Impreza lineup gets a sportier new look and comes standard with the latest generation of EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology. The 11.6-inch SUBARU STARLINK multimedia system Plus is available for the first time on the Impreza and comes with wireless Apple CarPlay® and wireless Android™ Auto. The system also provides on-screen controls for the vehicle’s audio, climate and features.
Base and Sport models are equipped with a 2.0-liter direct-injection SUBARU BOXER® four-cylinder engine that produces 152 horsepower and 145 lb.-ft. of torque. The new RS has been upgraded to a 2.5L BOXER engine that delivers an impressive 182 horsepower and 178 lb.-ft. of torque. Standard on all trim levels is the Lineartronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The Sport and RS models feature an 8-speed manual mode with paddle shifters on the steering wheel that allow the driver to control the transmission through eight preset ratios.
